Nose Bridge Augmentation
For most people, there is usually a curved portion at the middle of the nose bridge which is between the bone and cartilage of the nose. If there is a noticeable protrusion in this area, surgery to smoothen it is recommended. If the protrusion is serious, it becomes an aquiline nose, which is a common occurrence. Thus, it is common to have general rhinoplasty while correcting the protrusion from the bridge of the nose. If the protrusion is not that severe, it is slightly ground or the prosthesis is slightly cut. If the protrusion is serious, surgery for an aquiline nose is recommended.
